I am prone to getting quite dry nails, so am really glad I found the Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail and Cuticle Oil. I firstly love that it's just available at Woolies - so easy to pick up beauty products along with the groceries! It's a good sized bottle for the cost as well, since you only need a small amount this would last forever. The consistency is a classic oil consistency, and it has a very delicate and subtle scent. This instantly made my nails seem healthier and nourished. Overall very happy with this little gem.

I was surprised by how good the Natio Liquid Eyeliner is! I picked it up at Priceline not expecting much, but was blown away. The formula is a very solid black (nothing more annoying than a watery eyeliner pigment), and is very wet at first which is something to be aware of. The applicator is a tiny, precise brush, as opposed to a pen, which I found super useful in drawing a clean line. The brush is also super good for getting a really thin line to the inner corner of the eye. I found this eyeliner was easy to correct before it fully dried, and lasted well throughout the day. However I haven't yet tried it on a truly hot and humid day. Otherwise fab!

After previously using the Essie Gel Coutour top coat, I thought I would try something that I can grab with the groceries from Woolies, so I tried out the Revlon Ultimate Shine Top Coat. Unfortunately this wasn't a win for me. Pros: The polish definitely does deliver on shine as the name suggests, which is great. It adds a glossy finish to nails that has them looking super pretty. Cons: After coming from the Essie top coat (which really does prevent chips for a week) I found the Revlon one just didn't do the job with preventing chipping. Despite the top coat my nails chipped within three days. I noticed that the formula of this polish may be to blame - where the Essie version (and other 'gel' top coats I've tried) has a very thick texture, the Revlon once was much lighter and thinner. Overall not for me!

I am very late to the FIT Me party bus, and yet here we are. Finally tried the Maybelline New York FIT me! Matte + Poreless Foundation in the shade Fair Ivory, thinking it would be a quick and easy foundation to throw on for the odd work Zoom call while working from home. I was actually SO impressed to see it not only held up for a Zoom call, but the entire afternoon that followed! I was also very impressed with the consistency, the lack of oxidisation, the smooth appearance on the skin, and the colour match (it can be impossible to find foundation for very fair skin). Overall very happy that for such a cheap price I can nab a great WFH foundation.

So far I am loving using the Maybelline New York Superstay Vinyl Ink Longwear Liquid Lipstick (shade Peachy). It is such a gorgeous wearable colour and perfect for subtly over-lining your lips, looks so pretty on fair skin. It applies smoothly and dries quickly, without looking very dry at all. It really is long-wearing, too - I can eat a whole bowl of pasta alfredo without a smudge! Highly recommend and I can't wait to try out more shades in this range. Also love the affordable price point, great quality for the price.

The Essie Nail Care Gel Setter Nail Polish Top Coat is genuinely such an amazing product, easily the best top coat I've tried. It provides a gorgeous glossy top coat that really does make your nails "plumped" and shiny. I also find that it really protects your nails from chips, and usually a manicure will last me 5-7 days with genuinely no chips when I use this. For the price point as well it's such a good buy. I like to apply this top coat along the tops of my nails as well as on the flat side, to really 'seal off' the polish.

I LOVE using the Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Curl Smoothie. My hair is fine and curly, and even though this product is for thick curls I still love it. It's a gorgeous thick texture, and really feels like you're nourishing your hair when you use it. The smell is beautiful, like all Maui products, and it leaves my hair very soft. I usually apply a small amount to my lengths and ends after shampooing, then wait a couple of minutes to let it soak in before washing out. I then follow with a leave-in serum. Gorgeous!

I bought the Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick in Beaming Strawberry because I needed an everyday, wearable, pink-nude colour. This was absolutely perfect! I am so impressed by the formula of this unique product. It really does apply like a lip balm rather than a lipstick - it is super soft and hydrating, but still delivers gorgeous colour. On the lips it has a super pretty gloss to it without going overboard. The Beaming Strawberry is a super pretty pink colour that is perfect for everyday or the office. Absolutely love this product!

I have been really enjoying using the Nivea Soft moisturising cream! It is such a simple, affordable product that nonetheless feels absolutely lovely to use, it's very thick and rich and really feels pampering to apply. The scent is lovely and fresh, so overall it really does feel so beautiful on the skin. I find my skin doesn't react poorly to it at all - it is moisturised, plump and soft. And the fact that I can grab it with the groceries is amazing! Glycerin is a main ingredient which has been used forever as a powerful anti-aging ingredient, and I can see why. Such a little gem, I am converted.

I have just started using the Essano Hydrating Rosehip Pure Defence SPF15 Moisturiser recently and quite like it so far! It comes in a lovely pink pump pot with the classic Essano packaging, super pretty. The formula itself is fairly light but not runny, and has a slight pink tint to it as well which is so lovely. The scent is gorgeous - the signature Essano rose fragrance. This product feels nice to wear on the skin and doesn't irritate at all, and good to know it contains the SPF protection. My only complaint would be that it does take a little while to smooth completely into the skin compared with other moisturisers.
